RV Body Shop Estimator OCRV Center Yorba Linda, CA Job Details Full-time $60,000 - $85,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Pricing Teamwork Attention to detail Claims documentation management Commercial vehicle Full Job Description Job Description We are a growing RV, heavy-duty, and commercial vehicle paint and body shop seeking an experienced Body Shop Estimator . This is a hands-on, leadership-driven role that involves writing accurate estimates, working with insurance companies and customer-pay clients, and actively guiding repairs alongside our paint and body crew from start to finish. This position requires someone who understands the full repair process — not just the paperwork. Responsibilities Inspect RVs, motorhomes, heavy-duty trucks, and commercial vehicles to assess damage and prepare detailed repair estimates Write and manage both insurance claim and customer-pay paint & body estimates Work directly with insurance companies on claim processing, supplements, negotiations, and approvals Collaborate closely with paint and body technicians throughout the repair process to clarify scope, repair methods, and labor requirements Identify additional damage during teardown and prepare supplements quickly and accurately Communicate clearly with customers regarding pricing, timelines, and claim status Ensure repairs remain authorized, profitable, and aligned with shop standards Maintain complete documentation from initial estimate through final billing Qualifications Proven experience working with insurance companies on vehicle claims is required Estimating experience in RV, auto body, heavy-duty truck, or commercial vehicle repair RV experience strongly preferred Experience writing and explaining customer-pay estimates Experience with CCC ONE (CCC1) estimating software preferred Strong understanding of structural, body, and refinishing repair processes Ability to work directly with technicians to guide and support repairs Organized, detail-oriented, and strong communicator What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Stable, full-time position in a growing specialized shop Collaborative environment with experienced paint and body technicians Opportunity to work in a niche market with high-skill, high-value repairs
