Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and aesthetics. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about automotive repair, auto painting, welding, and vehicle restoration to showcase their talents in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration using advanced tools and techniques. Conduct auto painting utilizing airless paint spraying equipment to achieve flawless finishes that match factory standards. Use MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair sheet metal and structural components of vehicles. Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components through metal fabrication processes to meet specific repair needs. Replace and install auto glass, ensuring proper sealing and alignment for safety and appearance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and auto estimating software to accurately assess damage, prepare repair plans, and document work performed. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status, and ensure timely completion of all jobs. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sheet metal work, and auto glass installation equipment. Experience with auto restoration projects or custom fabrication is a plus. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong customer service skills to ensure satisfaction at every stage of repair.
