Job Description
As an Automotive Body Shop Technician, you will be repairing automotive, truck, and RV bodies by planning repairs, replacing, and refinishing parts, maintaining tools and equipment, and maintaining records.

Perform all body and fender repairs utilizing welding, body alignment and structural operations.
Repair bodies by removing, fabricating, attaching, and aligning parts; repairing dents; filling and sealing depressions; hammering, shaping, shrinking, expanding, filing, grinding, sanding, smoothing, and featheredging surfaces; applying repair techniques and tools, including, wrenches, cutting torch, dent puller, hand, pneumatic, and power tools, grinder, sander, welder, straightened, power, foot, and hand shear, brake, drill press, drills, etc.
Maintain quality service by following repair standards; conducting test drive and final inspection; correcting deficiencies; obtaining approval from customer.
Frame experienceDocument all actions in repair order notes.
Maintain tools and equipment by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 80 lbs.
Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.
Normal range of hearing and vision.
Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing and ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
A minimum of two years' experience as an automotive body technician.
Candidates must be a motivated individual who can work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical and drug screening
