Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician, where your expertise in vehicle repair and restoration will bring vehicles back to their original glory! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and refinishing damaged vehicles with precision and care. Your mechanical skills and passion for auto body work will contribute to delivering exceptional service and quality craftsmanship. Whether working on collision repairs, auto restoration projects, or custom finishes, you'll play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine repair strategies and necessary parts or materials. Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using hand tools and power tools. Conduct welding tasks such as MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication to restore structural integrity of vehicles. Apply auto painting techniques using airless paint spraying equipment to achieve flawless finishes. Install or replace auto glass, perform detailing, and ensure all repairs meet safety standards. Use auto estimating software to document repairs accurately and communicate with customers about repair progress. Assist in auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts and restoring vintage vehicles with meticulous attention to detail. Requirements Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role within a dealership or automotive repair shop. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and the use of various hand and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures. Familiarity with auto body repair techniques including sheet metal work, auto painting, and auto glass installation. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair processes clearly.
