Duties Assist with disassembly and reassembly of vehicle parts using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper handling and safety. Support auto body technicians with sanding, masking, and prepping vehicles for painting or repairs. Help with the fabrication of sheet metal components and perform basic welding tasks such as MIG welding and soldering under supervision. Aid in the installation of auto glass, auto painting, and auto restoration projects to meet quality standards. Perform light mechanical tasks including vehicle inspections, basic repairs, and routine maintenance to support overall auto body work. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving parts or vehicles within the shop environment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly for efficiency and safety. Qualifications Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, sheet metal work, and auto body repair techniques. Basic mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto restoration processes.
