Overview Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Auto Body Technician / Collision Repair Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in auto body repair, welding, and vehicle restoration to deliver top-quality results. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment to restore vehicles to factory standards. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair or fabricate sheet metal components. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment to achieve smooth, flawless finishes. Replace and repair auto glass, ensuring proper sealing and fitment for safety and aesthetics. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for disassembly, assembly, sanding, buffing, and detailing tasks. Assess vehicle damage accurately for auto estimating purposes and communicate repair plans clearly with customers. Assist with auto restoration projects by fabricating parts, performing mechanical repairs, and ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair and collision work. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and sheet metal work. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, vehicle maintenance, and auto painting techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and auto glass replacement equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during assembly or repair processes. Knowledge of auto restoration processes including auto painting, sanding, detailing, and airless paint spraying. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly and professionally.
