Auto Body Repair B Technician

Responsibilities:

• Repair and restore damaged vehicles, including bodywork and frame repairs
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed
• Experience using body fillers aka "mud"
• Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts.
• Assess vehicle damage with ability to read estimates
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in sheet metal repair, auto restoration.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble vehicle parts accurately.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or bending.
• Familiarity with dealership repair processes is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Reporting to the shop manager, your role involves performing detailed repairs, fabricating parts, and ensuring high-quality finishes. Your mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools will be essential in executing tasks efficiently. With a focus on customer satisfaction, your ability to handle heavy lifting and provide excellent service will contribute to the success of our automotive repair team.
