Daytona Automall Body Shop is now seeking to hire (2) experienced Body Shop Estimator s.

Body Shop Estimator Purpose:

Estimates automotive body repairs by ascertaining body damage; developing estimates; preparing work orders; contacting insurance company; maintaining customer rapport.

• Ascertains automotive body damage by conducting inspections and examinations.
• Develops estimates by costing parts, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Body Shop Estimator obtains insurance estimates by contacting insurance companies; reviewing damage estimates with insurance adjuster; resolving repair and replacement requirements.

Qualifications & Responsibilities Paint Technicians setup, operate, and maintain equipment in the paint department. The objective of the Paint Technician is to ensure the smooth operation of the department and that customer requirements are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Daily setup of work stations Mixing of paints and solvents Cleaning and maintaining equipment daily Troubleshooting errors Identify and prevent schedule interruptions Supporting operators with training and breaks Monitoring product quality to ensure customer specifications are met Prepare all sample parts for inspection Maintain inventory of all paint, primers, and other necessary supplies Operation of hand spray paint guns and heat/air treatment guns Communicate with supervisor on schedule priorities, operator/painter support, and general needs of the department Communicate with quality department on all quality issues/concerns Coordinate with finishing and molding on objectives of the department and process improvements

Qualifications and Skills:

High School Diploma/ G.E.D. required Professional written and verbal communication Microsoft Office proficiency preferred Excellent organization and attention to detail Minimum 2 years in painting role Positive customer service mentality Flexibility with schedule, workload, and change Eye for detail and spotting potential quality concerns Safety first mindset •
