Full Job Description Position:
Body Repair Technician (Specializing in Body Repair and Prep for Paint)
Responsibilities:
Repair damaged body and fenders by filling in dents with body filler or hammering out imperfections, ensuring compliance with industry standards. ⁠Expertly apply body filler to fill depressions and imperfections in vehicle ⁠Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and replace them with new parts as necessary, ensuring proper alignment and fit. ⁠Refine repaired surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding with appropriate materials. ⁠Prepare vehicles for paint application by ensuring surfaces are smooth and free of imperfections.
Qualifications:
⁠Prior experience or knowledge in automotive body repair, with a focus in utilizing body filler is preferred. ⁠Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in body repair work. ⁠⁠Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. ⁠⁠Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team. ⁠⁠Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to varying repair scenarios. ⁠⁠Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
