Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair, automotive painting, and customer service. This role involves restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening. Execute auto painting tasks with precision to achieve a flawless finish. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle repairs and updates. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper fit and function in vehicle restoration. Utilize welding techniques for structural repairs and modifications. Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions. Work with sheet metal to create or repair body components. Conduct auto estimating to provide accurate assessments of repair costs and timeframes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in automotive repair, specifically in auto body repair and painting,( Frame machine experience wanted ! ) Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Proficiency in fabrication techniques and welding processes. Familiarity with auto glass repair methods is preferred but not mandatory. Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues. Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are a plus.
