Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in auto body repair and restoration, demonstrating a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform auto body repairs, including frame straightening, dent removal, and panel replacement. Conduct MIG welding and fabrication tasks as needed for repairs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment for vehicle maintenance and repair. Execute auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a flawless finish. Carry out detailing tasks to ensure vehicles are clean and presentable post-repair. Assist with auto glass replacement and repairs as required. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Prepare accurate auto estimates for repair work needed on vehicles. Engage in heavy lifting and assembly tasks associated with vehicle repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Skills Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory. Proficient in MIG welding, fabrication, and general mechanical knowledge. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair techniques. Knowledge of sheet metal work, soldering, and auto restoration processes. Strong attention to detail in both repair work and vehicle presentation. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process. Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction throughout the repair journey. Familiarity with auto estimating practices is advantageous but not essential.
