Auto Body Technician

Responsibilities Repair and restore vehicle bodies using a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto painting techniques Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, sheet metal fabrication, and auto glass replacement Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to join metal parts securely Prepare surfaces for painting using sanding, sanding blocks, and airless paint spraying equipment to ensure a smooth finish Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and estimate the scope of work accurately Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair progress and expectations Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly work when needed Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal fabrication, and auto painting techniques Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service best practices is a plus Hands-on experience working with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and auto glass installation Knowledge of auto restoration processes and auto body detailing enhances your suitability for this role Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining precision in repairs Join us to make a tangible difference in vehicle restoration!
