Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Dealership Body Shop Technician to join our energetic team! In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring vehicles that have been damaged in accidents or collisions. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle is returned to its optimal condition, providing our customers with safe, reliable, and high-quality service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with a passionate team dedicated to excellence in automotive repair. Duties Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine necessary repairs and parts needed Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening with precision and care Use specialized tools and equipment to realign and restore vehicle structures to manufacturer specifications Apply paint, fillers, and finishes to ensure seamless repairs that meet quality standards Maintain detailed records of repair procedures, parts used, and work completed for each vehicle Follow safety protocols diligently to create a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues Collaborate with service advisors and customers to communicate repair progress and address any concerns effectively Experience Proven experience as an auto body technician or similar role within a dealership or collision repair shop Strong knowledge of automotive body repair techniques, tools, and materials Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, repair orders, and diagrams accurately Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Valid certification or licensing relevant to auto body repair (preferred but not mandatory) Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering exceptional vehicle repairs that restore confidence and safety for our customers!
