Carroll GMC is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Body Shop Estimator to join our growing collision center. This role is essential to ensuring accurate repair estimates, smooth communication with insurance providers, and delivering an outstanding experience to our customers. Responsibilities Greet customers, review vehicle damage, and document all necessary information for repair estimates. Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates using CCC, Mitchell, or Audatex estimating software. Communicate directly with insurance companies regarding approvals, supplements, and claim updates. Explain repair estimates and processes to customers in a clear, professional manner. Work closely with body shop technicians and managers to ensure estimates are accurate and repairs are completed on time. Maintain compliance with General Motors (GMC) repair standards and dealership procedures. Assist with parts ordering and supplement requests when required. Track and follow up on all open estimates, approvals, and work orders. Provide outstanding customer service to maintain strong CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores. Qualifications Prior experience as a Body Shop/Collision Estimator in an automotive dealership or independent body shop (GM/GMC experience preferred). Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and insurance claim procedures. Proficiency with estimating systems (CCC, Mitchell, Audatex, or similar). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
