Graham Collision is a reputable, locally owned auto body shop specializing in high-quality repair and restoration services. We are committed to delivering exceptional results and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a skilled and motivated auto body technician to join our growing team at our Urbandale location.
Job Description:
As an auto body technician, you will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and maintaining vehicles that have been damaged due to accidents or wear. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform bodywork repairs on vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, and more. Inspect damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs required. Remove and replace damaged parts (doors, bumpers, fenders, etc.). Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs. Follow safety standards and company procedures to ensure high-quality work. Communicate with management to ensure proper understanding of repairs and timelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
5+ years of proven experience as an auto body technician or similar role. Knowledge of body repair techniques, materials, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and repair orders. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Automotive certifications are a plus. How to
