Category=Instructional The Technology Center of DuPage is hiring an instructor for the 2026-27 school year to teach high school students basic skills related to the auto body repair and refinishing industry. This course prepares students for entry-level employment or continuing their education for a post-secondary instruction.

Qualifications:

I-CAR Pro Level 1 Non-Structural and Refinishing Technician Certification ASE Non-Structural and Refinishing Technician Certification Minimum of 3 years work experience in the auto body repair and refinishing. Have considerable work experience in all aspects of the auto body/collision repair field. Must meet all qualifications for the appropriate license though the Illinois State Board of Education. Valid Professional Educator License that is current and registered in DuPage County with endorsement in Auto-body/Collision and Repair Technology/Technician. (Candidates with valid ISBE teaching licenses must also have at least two years of directly related work experience) or Official transcripts, in unopened, sealed envelopes, showing 60 semester hours of credit from a recognized educational institution; documented evidence of 2,000 hours of work experience in the skill area. or Documented evidence of 8,000 hours of work experience in the specific skill area to be taught. For candidates who do not hold a CTE license, if qualified based on above requirements, we can provide forms, instructions and support to guide you through the application process.
