Auto Body Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. Your collision repairs will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage thoroughly and develop effective repair plans using auto estimating tools Perform body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural alignment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment such as MIG welding and soldering Fabricate custom parts or panels from sheet metal as needed for auto restoration projects Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components during repairs Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship Maintain detailed documentation of repair procedures and communicate effectively with customer care staff about the repair process Safely handle heavy lifting equipment and adhere to safety protocols throughout all repair activities Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and the use of various power tools and hand tools Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair, auto restoration, and vehicle maintenance Skilled in communication Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs Familiarity with sheet metal work, auto body alignment, welding techniques, and auto estimating procedures Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently Join us as an Auto Body Technician where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle restoration!
