Freeport, IL Pay Range:
$60,000- $120,000+ per year based on experience, production, certifications, and skill level Sign-On Bonus Available!
A-Level Technician:
$7,000Sign-On Bonus B-Level Technician:
$4,000 Sign-On Bonus Sign-on bonuses are paid over a two-year period. Technician level is determined based on a combination of work experience, testing credentials, ASE certifications, I-CAR certifications, and OEM factory training. Job Description Bocker Auto Group is seeking experienced and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our growing Collision Center team in Freeport, Illinois. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship, enjoy working in a team environment, and are committed to restoring vehicles safely and efficiently to pre-accident condition. Whether you're an experienced B-Tech looking to advance your career or an established A-Tech seeking a long-term home with a quality-focused organization, we offer the tools, training, and support to help you succeed. What You'll Do Perform high-quality auto body repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models. Analyze vehicle damage and develop effective repair strategies. Repair, replace, align, and fit damaged body panels and structural components. Utilize modern repair equipment, measuring systems, welding equipment, and manufacturer-approved repair procedures. Operate frame and structural repair equipment, including our Car-O-Liner frame machine. Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed during the repair process. Work closely with estimators, painters, and management to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently. Conduct thorough quality inspections before vehicle delivery. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Adhere to all company, OEM, OSHA, and safety standards. Continuously develop technical skills through training and certification programs. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Previous auto body repair experience. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to meet productivity and quality goals. Strong attention to detail. Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical work throughout the day.
