Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using hand tools and power tools. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve smooth, flawless finishes. Execute welding tasks such as MIG welding and soldering to restore structural integrity of vehicle frames and panels. Repair or replace auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision. Utilize fabrication skills to customize or modify vehicle parts, ensuring proper fit and function. Maintain mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal operation during repair processes. Complete auto estimating tasks by assessing damages accurately and providing detailed repair plans for customer approval. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, auto painting, and auto restoration projects. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and auto body assembly tools. Knowledge of auto glass replacement, auto estimating procedures, and vehicle maintenance practices. Ability to work efficiently with detailed attention while managing multiple repairs simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients' needs and concerns.
