As a Body Shop Detailer, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning, buffing, and preparing vehicles after repairs, ensuring each car meets our high standards of quality and appearance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in vehicle detailing, car wash techniques, and custodial work within a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning and detailing of vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and interior cleaning to achieve showroom-quality results Execute buffing and polishing procedures to restore vehicle paintwork and enhance overall appearance Assist with window tinting applications when required, ensuring precise and professional installation Maintain cleanliness of the shop area by conducting janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal to uphold a safe and organized workspace Support the vehicle repair process by providing light custodial services and ensuring vehicles are presentable for customer pickup or inspection Operate company vehicles responsibly for errands related to vehicle pickup or delivery as needed Deliver excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients regarding vehicle care and detailing progress Qualifications Prior experience in car wash, detailing, or custodial roles is highly preferred; janitorial experience is also valuable Strong attention to detail with an ability to follow specific instructions for cleaning and buffing procedures Basic knowledge of automotive cleaning products and techniques Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving company or personal vehicles is advantageous Pass mandatory drug test Willingness to learn new skills related to vehicle detailing, buffing, and maintenance Willing to learn how to remove bumper from vehicle Join us in creating outstanding vehicle presentations while gaining valuable experience in the automotive care industry!
