Auto Body Estimator - Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auto Body Estimator to join our collision repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, preparing accurate repair estimates, and working directly with customers, insurance companies, and technicians throughout the repair process. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of collision repair procedures, insurance claims, parts identification, and estimating systems such as CCC ONE. Your ability to write accurate estimates, communicate effectively, and maintain excellent customer service will play a key role in ensuring efficient repairs and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates for collision repairs Create estimates using CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex, or other estimating software Review vehicle damage and determine repair procedures, labor times, parts requirements, and refinish operations Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding approvals, supplements, and claim processing Prepare and submit supplements for additional damage discovered during repairs Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure accurate repair planning Explain repair processes, timelines, and estimates clearly to customers Monitor repair progress and update estimates as necessary throughout the repair process Ensure all estimates comply with insurance guidelines and manufacturer repair procedures Order and verify parts when needed to support repair operations Maintain accurate documentation, photos, and repair records Assist with vehicle check-in, damage documentation, and final vehicle delivery Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Help maintain production flow and support overall shop efficiency Requirements Previous experience as an Auto Body Estimator or Collision Repair Estimator required Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures, vehicle construction, and repair planning Experience with CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex, or similar estimating platforms Understanding of insurance claims, DRP procedures, and supplement processing Ability to read and interpret repair procedures and OEM guidelines Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of parts identification, labor operations, and refinish procedures Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and email communication Ability to negotiate professionally with insurance companies and vendors Valid driver's license required I-CAR certifications or ASE certifications are a plus Why Join Our Team? Pay:

$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
