In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. Your expertise will help ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality auto body repairs, including collision damage repair, auto painting, and detailing. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive repair and dedicated to craftsmanship, working in a fast-paced environment that values safety, efficiency, and excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using hand tools, power tools, welding, and soldering techniques. Utilize MIG welding and fabrication skills to repair or replace damaged structural components and sheet metal parts. Replace or repair auto glass, ensuring proper sealing and alignment for safety and aesthetics. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as sanding, buffing, polishing, and detailing to restore vehicles to showroom quality. Interpret auto estimating reports to accurately assess repair requirements and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair progress. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or positioning vehicle parts or entire vehicles during repairs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and working with sheet metal is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying and detailing processes. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and auto restoration techniques. Knowledge of auto glass replacement procedures and auto body assembly is a plus. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and estimates.
