Auto Body Technician - Collision Repair

Holm Automotive Center is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Auto Body / Collision Repair Technician to join our high-performing body shop in Abilene. Compensation & Earnings Target Earnings:

$60,000 - $100,000+ annually

Pay Structure:

Flat Rate /

Performance-Based Stability:

High production potential with steady DRP and insurance work.

Key Responsibilities Structural Repair:

Perform frame straightening, unibody repairs, and structural replacements to OEM standards.

Panel & Body Work:

Repair or replace damaged body panels; perform welding (MIG/TIG) and aluminum repairs.

Refinishing Prep:

Execute body filler work, sanding, and professional paint preparation.

Mechanical R&I:

Remove and install components as needed to facilitate complete repairs.

Compliance:

Follow I-CAR and ASE standards to ensure every vehicle is returned in "better-than-before" condition.

Efficiency:

Maintain production targets and cycle times based on insurance estimates and repair orders.

Qualifications Experience:

2+ years as an Auto Body or Collision Repair Technician.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with frame machines, measuring systems, and OEM repair procedures.

Certifications:

I-CAR and/or ASE certifications are highly preferred.

Specialties:

Aluminum repair experience is a plus.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
