Job Description

An Accessories Installer/Bedliner Technician prepares and applies spray-in bedliners to vehicles, which includes tasks like masking, sanding, spraying and cleaning. They also help install a wide variety of truck accessories. They are responsible for the quality of the application, maintaining a clean and organized workspace and ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
Job responsibilities:
Accessories:
Help with installs of truck accessories such as: covers/ toppers, nerf bars, hitches and more.
Vehicle preparation:
Disassemble and mask bolt-in components, clean, scuff, and sand truck beds and other surfaces to prepare them for application.
Bedliner application:
Safely and efficiently mix and apply bedliner coatings using professional equipment, ensuring an even and consistent application.
Post-application:
De-mask the vehicle, perform a final inspection for quality and durability, and clean the work area.
Shop and equipment maintenance:
Maintain the cleanliness and order of the workspace and ensure spray equipment, compressors, and generators are in good working condition.
Quality control:
Identify potential complications and resolve them, and ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations.
Record keeping:
Record all information about the job, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Safety:
Adhere to all safety standards, wear required personal protective equipment, and follow proper hazardous material handling procedures. Qualifications and skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in automotive detailing, paint application, or a related field is often preferred but not required. Prior experience with spray-in bedliners and/ or installing truck accessories is a strong plus but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required.

$15.00 - $24.00 per hour
