Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Autobody/Paint/Prepper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for repairs, applying high-quality paint finishes, and ensuring each vehicle meets our strict standards of excellence. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their original condition, providing exceptional service and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to automotive excellence and customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, and welding as needed Conduct buffing, polishing, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish on repaired vehicles Replace or repair auto glass and ensure proper sealing and fitment Use power tools and hand tools efficiently for various repair and prep tasks Assist with auto restoration projects by performing heavy lifting and mechanical adjustments when necessary Experience Prior dealership experience or work in an auto body shop is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs Experience with auto painting techniques such as airless spray painting and buffing Skilled in auto body repair including welding, dent removal, and panel alignment Familiarity with auto estimating processes and customer service practices is a plus Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment for automotive work Knowledge of auto glass replacement procedures and detailing techniques is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a team that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and delivering outstanding results. Pay:
$22.43 - $27.01 per hour
