Montgomery Automotive Group is a leading group of dealerships in the area. Our body shop is currently hiring body shop estimators. Body shop estimators can expect to complete tasks such as greeting customers and potential customers, prepare estimates, and achieve shop benchmarks. Body Shop Estimator Objectives To effectively convert prospective clients into customers. To prepare all estimates and supplements in such a manner as to enable the shop to achieve the profit benchmarks. To prepare all estimates in an accurate and thorough manner so as to provide the production department with a detailed blueprint of the repairs. Body Shop Estimator Characteristics The estimator position involves a great deal of contact with the public. For this reason, the estimator should be friendly, accommodating, cheerful, well-groomed, outgoing, and able to get along well with people. At least 3 years of Body shop estimator experience is required. Body Shop Estimator Responsibilities Greet each customer in a cheerful and positive mannner. Educate each customer about the process of getting a vehicle repaired, including insurance procedures, repair techniques, safety, value, etc. Maintain an appropriate dress code that characterizes professionalism and trust. Utilize our tools for estimating and followup. (DMS, Collision link, CCC one, 3M Repair Stack) Prepare accurate estimates and supplements in an efficient manner. Accuracy and detail are paramount. Document all information into our systems for your use and the use of other employees.
