NEED A RELIABLE PAINTER WITH ATLEAST 2+ YEAR EXPERIANCE. MUST HAVE HIS OWN PAINT GUNS. MUST BE FAMILIER WITH WATER AND SOLVENT BASED SYSTEM. ABILITY TO WORK WITH PPG PAINT SYSTEM. WATER/SOLVENT.
Start at 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Painter to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, restoring their appearance and value. Your expertise will help ensure customer satisfaction by delivering flawless, durable results while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion Mix and match paints accurately to achieve the desired color and finish Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and finishing touches using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools Use buffing machines and polishing compounds to achieve a smooth, glossy surface Repair minor dents, scratches, and imperfections using auto body repair techniques including welding when necessary Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Assist with auto glass replacement, detailing, and other related vehicle restoration tasks as needed Requirements Proven dealership or automotive shop experience as an Auto Body Painter or similar role Strong knowledge of auto body repair, auto painting techniques, and vehicle maintenance procedures Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, buffing machines, and other relevant equipment Mechanical knowledge including auto estimating, auto restoration, welding skills, and mechanic experience is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about repair processes and timelines Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred; willingness to learn new skills related to auto estimating and vehicle diagnostics Join our team where your craftsmanship makes a real difference!
