Auto Body Technician Route 44 Collision center Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, demonstrating excellent mechanical knowledge and attention to detail. This role is essential in ensuring that vehicles are restored to their original condition, providing high-quality service to our customers. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs on various vehicles, including collision repair and restoration. Utilize airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a flawless finish. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper fit and function. Conduct thorough vehicle maintenance checks to identify any additional repair needs. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Execute welding tasks for structural repairs as required. Detail vehicles post-repair to ensure they meet quality standards before returning them to customers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in auto body repair, with a strong portfolio of completed work. Proficiency in customer service, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the repair process. Knowledge of auto glass replacement and repair is a plus. Familiarity with airless paint spraying equipment and techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues. Experience in vehicle maintenance and restoration practices. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Welding skills are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
