Job Description

Body Shop Painter - Join Our Award-Winning Team! Koons Ford Lincoln of Annapolis is seeking a skilled and motivated Body Shop Painter to join our fast-paced, high-quality collision center. We are committed to delivering top-tier craftsmanship and service to every customer, and we're looking for an experienced painter who takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities:
Prepare vehicles for paint by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces Mix and match paint colors to factory specifications Apply paint to vehicles with precision and attention to detail Inspect finished jobs for quality and accuracy Maintain clean workspace and comply with safety regulations Collaborate with technicians, estimators, and management to ensure timely repairs Stay current with the latest paint application techniques and products
Requirements:
Proven experience as an automotive painter (2+ years preferred) Knowledge of painting techniques, equipment, and materials Ability to perform color matching and blending Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Valid driver's license and clean driving record I-CAR, ASE, or OEM certifications (a plus, but not required) Ability to work independently and as part of a team
