The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and a passion for restoring vehicles to their original condition. This role requires proficiency in various repair techniques, including welding, auto estimating, and the use of hand and power tools. The Auto Body Technician will work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Collision & Body Repair Structural and non-structural repairs Frame and unibody repair Welding and panel replacement Dent and damage repair Vehicle disassembly and reassembly Mechanical Repairs Suspension and steering repairs related to collision damage Cooling system and front-end component replacement ADAS component replacement and preparation for calibration Paint Preparation Sanding and surface preparation Priming and masking Buffing and polishing as needed Quality Control Final inspection of repairs Verify vehicle safety and functionality Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and company standards Qualifications Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle systems and components. Proficiency in welding, soldering, and using various hand tools and power tools. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in auto body repair are a plus. Pay:
