Monday thru Friday International West Michigan Wyoming, MI West Michigan International (WMI) and K&R Truck Sales are a locally-owned group of companies dedicated to providing exceptional service as a full-service truck dealership. With five locations across West Michigan, including Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Muskegon, we offer extensive services such as a comprehensive service department, three complete body shops, parts delivery, a fleet of mobile service trucks, towing, and a strong commitment to customer service. We also provide truck sales, leasing/rental, and financing. We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Body Painter to join our team. This role involves refinishing damaged vehicle bodies and parts to meet factory and dealership quality standards. Join us for a rewarding career with growth opportunities and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities Review body work for quality and completeness upon arrival in the paint department. Mix, color match, and refinish each vehicle to restore it to pre-accident condition. Complete all refinish operations as outlined in the work order. Efficiently manage and maintain paint material inventory. Consistently use required safety equipment and properly dispose of hazardous waste. Participate in daily production meetings and collaborate with the team. Work in alignment with the production schedule and coworkers to meet deadlines. Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership guidelines. Communicate with the shop floor advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed. Assist in estimating the time required for refinishing if necessary. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience in the heavy-duty market is desired. Strong teamwork skills. Customer-focused attitude. Willingness to stay updated on industry training and equipment. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and follow up on multiple projects. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
