Body Shop Technician

Kunes Auto Group, one of the fastest growing dealerships in the Midwest is seeking a Body Shop Tech to join our Hastings, MN Body Shop. Position Summary The Body Shop Technician is responsible for performing high-quality collision repairs, ensuring vehicles are restored to pre-accident condition with precision, safety, and efficiency. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced repair environment. Key Responsibilities Must supply and maintain a complete set of personal automotive tools required to perform job duties Demonstrated experience with buffing, polishing, and paint correction techniques Ability to properly prepare vehicles for paint, including sanding and bringing surfaces to primer stage Skilled in reassembling vehicles accurately and efficiently following paint work Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with company standards Perform thorough final washes and detailing to ensure vehicles are delivery-ready Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced shop environment Experience 1-5+ years of collision repair experience required Knowledge of modern vehicle construction, repair techniques, and safety standards. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation:
