Position Overview As a Collision Repair Technician, you will restore vehicles and trailers to top operating condition by performing collision repairs and sheet metal fabrication. Your work will ensure every vehicle meets safety, quality, and cosmetic standards, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to shop safety protocols. This role is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about precision and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage to determine the scope of repairs Perform collision repairs including panel replacement, panel repair, welding, and sheet metal fabrication Replace or repair auto glass and perform vehicle detailing Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts ordering and repair documentation Safely lift and handle heavy components while adhering to shop safety protocols Collaborate with truck and trailer technicians to ensure comprehensive fleet maintenance Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Collision Repair Technician or similar role Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures, welding, and sheet metal fabrication Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and auto glass installation equipment Knowledge of safety standards and collision repair best practices Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop Physical ability to lift 50-75 lbs and perform repetitive tasks safely Preferred Qualifications Dealership or fleet repair experience Experience working on commercial trucks and trailers Benefits 401(k) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Work Environment Our shop is a modern, fully equipped facility supporting a fleet of Peterbilt tractors and Great Dane trailers.
