This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles, performing comprehensive repairs, restorations, and bodywork with precision and care. As a vital part of our service department, you will utilize your expertise to ensure every vehicle is restored to optimal condition, delivering exceptional results and customer satisfaction. Your hands-on skills, technical knowledge, and passion for automotive repair will drive your success in this fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs using a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Conduct auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and auto restoration projects. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques to repair or modify vehicle structures and components. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, and engine diagnostics. Prepare vehicles for auto estimating by assessing damage and providing detailed repair estimates. Apply auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying to achieve high-quality finishes. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair and body shop work. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and sheet metal fabrication. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, auto painting, auto glass installation, and auto restoration processes. Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service principles is a plus. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and safety compliance. Valid certification as a mechanic or body shop technician; previous dealership experience is highly desirable.
