Job Description

Fiberglass Finish Technician
NO DIRECT
experience required. On the job training provided by employer. Stene Aviation Inc. is an FAA approved aftermarket composite aircraft part manufacturer located in Polson, MT. We are looking for responsible, motivated, and organized individuals to join our production team. Employee will be responsible for the fabrication and completion of composite aircraft parts following detailed process specifications. Individuals must be detail and quality minded with good eyesight and have basic computer skills. Individuals must work well independently and as a team. Finish Technician performs post-cure tasks include identifying defects, trimming composite parts, filling and wet-sanding blemishes, and applying primer. Additional tasks include installing component hardware with rivets, nutplates, and screws. Employee will be working with primers, thinners, composite filler, and basic aircraft tool sets. Candidates need to be quality oriented and driven to meet production requirements. No direct experience required as company training is provided.
Essential Job Functions:
Follow manufacturing processes and procedures. Examine parts for defects and take corrective action. Mix primers, composite-fillers, and apply primer. Maintain equipment and tools in good working order Maintain a clean and organized work area. Accurately log work performed and record on production records. Follow instructions and procedures for performed task. Follow safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe, clean work area. Meet and exceed part production schedules Able to lift or move 50lbs. This is a full-time, year-round position that includes paid vacation, holidays, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 6a.m. to 4p.m.. Flexible work schedules available.
Wage:
Pay Starts at $17.80/hr + pending applicants experience with composites.
