In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by repairing, replacing, and refinishing damaged body parts. Your expertise will help ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship and efficient service. Duties Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine necessary repairs and estimate timeframes for completion Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal fabrication using hand tools and power tools Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a smooth, professional finish Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair or fabricate metal components Replace or repair auto glass and ensure proper sealing and alignment for safety and appearance Complete vehicle assembly after repairs, ensuring all parts are correctly installed and functioning properly Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, including auto estimating documentation and customer service notes Assist with auto restoration projects by restoring vintage or damaged vehicles to showroom quality Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical inspections, minor repairs, and preventative care as needed Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry best practices Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair preferred Proficiency in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, soldering, and the use of various hand tools and power tools Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, auto painting, auto glass installation, and vehicle maintenance Experience with auto estimating software is a plus but not required Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Knowledge of auto restoration techniques and automotive repair processes highly desirable Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about repairs and timelines Join our team where your skills will be valued!
