Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Bodyshop Tech to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive auto body repairs, including collision damage restoration, sheet metal work, and refinishing. Your expertise will ensure vehicles are restored to their original condition with precision and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned technicians passionate about automotive repair and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance, contributing to our reputation for quality workmanship. Responsibilities Perform detailed auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment using hand tools and power tools. Conduct MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication to restore vehicle structures accurately. Utilize auto estimating software to assess damages and determine repair scopes. Apply auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying to achieve flawless finishes. Replace and install auto glass, perform auto restoration tasks, and handle vehicle assembly processes. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues related to body damage and coordinate with mechanics for repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and use of power tools. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair cycle. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair shops. Proficiency in MIG welding, welding techniques, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and auto painting equipment including airless paint sprayers. Knowledge of auto glass replacement, auto painting procedures, and auto restoration projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing exceptional customer service.
