Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. Your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will ensure that each vehicle meets our high standards for quality and safety. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a flawless finish Repair or replace auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision Fabricate sheet metal parts and perform MIG welding and soldering to restore vehicle structures effectively Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues, perform vehicle maintenance, and ensure proper assembly of repaired components Detail vehicles post-repair, including sanding, polishing, and cleaning to meet customer expectations Assist with auto estimating processes by assessing damages and providing accurate repair estimates when needed Requirements Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in a dealership or automotive repair shop Strong proficiency in auto body repair, auto painting, welding (including MIG welding), soldering, and fabrication of sheet metal parts Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, auto glass installation equipment, and airless paint sprayers Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about repairs and timelines Experience with auto estimating software is a plus but not required Knowledge of auto restoration projects is advantageous Valid certification or training in automotive repair or collision repair preferred Join our team to work on exciting projects where your craftsmanship makes a real difference! Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
