Job Overview Join our dynamic auto shop team as an Auto Shop Helper, where your enthusiasm and mechanical aptitude will drive our success! In this energetic role, you will assist with vehicle maintenance, repairs, and restorations, ensuring our customers' vehicles are safe, reliable, and looking great. Responsibilities Support mechanics by preparing work areas and organizing tools for various automotive repair tasks Assist with vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and basic diagnostics Use hand tools and power tools to perform minor repairs, part replacements, and vehicle adjustments Help with auto body repair tasks such as sanding, painting prep, and minor dent repairs Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts and equipment safely to assist with repairs or restorations Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols at all times during vehicle handling and repair activities Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in automotive repair is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service procedures is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to assisting team members Prior experience in auto body repair or mechanic work is advantageous but not mandatory Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork High school diploma or equivalent; ongoing interest in automotive technology encouraged Join us today to kick-start your career in the automotive industry!
