We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tear Down Technician to join our team. Position Summary The Tear Down Technician is responsible for the complete disassembly of damaged vehicles to identify all repair-related damage, assist estimators with accurate repair plans, and support the repair process from start to finish. Responsibilities Perform complete vehicle disassembly and teardown for collision-damaged vehicles. Identify hidden damage and communicate findings to estimators and technicians. Label, organize, and store parts during the repair process. Assist with documenting damage for supplements and insurance approvals. Remove and reinstall bolt-on components as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow OEM repair procedures and shop standards. Work closely with estimators, parts personnel, and body technicians to ensure efficient workflow. Qualifications Previous collision repair, body shop, or mechanical experience preferred. Strong understanding of vehicle components and repair processes. Ability to identify damaged parts and structural concerns. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred. I-CAR training is a plus but not required.
