$25.00•$35.00 per hour, plus commission (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM (no weekends) About Us For 41 years, Universal Imports of Rochester has built a reputation as a trusted family-owned dealership specializing in European vehicles. Our collision center operates out of an 8,000 square foot facility in East Rochester, backed by our 25,000 square foot main sales and service center. We work with all insurance carriers, and our shop is equipped with factory-level ADAS calibration equipment, lifts, and a paint booth. What We Offer Competitive straight-time hourly pay ($25•35/hour) plus commission Consistent Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend hours A fully equipped shop with factory-level ADAS equipment, lifts, and paint booth We work with all insurance carriers Real opportunities for advancement within the position and the department Support and options for continued education and higher learning A stable, well-established workplace with decades of proven success A respectful, team-oriented culture What You'll Do Perform collision repairs including straightening, replacing, and refinishing vehicle bodies and frames Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods Perform or coordinate ADAS calibrations using factory-level equipment Work to manufacturer specifications, with attention to European makes Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Collaborate with estimators and shop staff to meet quality and timeline standards Requirements Proven experience as an auto body technician (experienced candidates only) Valid New York State driver license Clean driving record Ability to use collision repair tools and equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Physical Requirements This position requires standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and using hand and power tools.
