Job Overview Auto Body Painter for a fleet of vehicles to be repaired and painted. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using airless spray guns, power tools, and hand tools with precision and consistency Perform auto body repairs such as filling dents, welding panels, and replacing damaged parts to create a smooth surface ready for painting Conduct detailing and buffing to achieve a flawless finish Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations Skills auto body repair background demonstrating proficiency in auto painting techniques Strong skills combined with mechanical knowledge to handle various repair tasks efficiently Expertise in using hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and buffing machines for detailed work Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large parts or equipment during repairs
