Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Painter Autobody to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert auto body repair, painting, and finishing techniques. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH GLASURIT PAINT SYSTEM
Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Repair dents, scratches, and structural damage using welding and auto body repair techniques. Apply primer, paint, and clear coats using airless paint spraying equipment and power tools for a smooth finish. Buff, polish, and detail vehicles to achieve a showroom-quality appearance. Replace or repair auto glass components as needed during the restoration process. Conduct vehicle maintenance checks and perform minor mechanical repairs when necessary. Collaborate with team members to estimate repair costs and communicate progress with customers effectively. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair and painting. Skilled in welding, buffing, auto restoration, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs. Experience with auto estimating software is a plus. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and work on vehicles for extended periods. Knowledge of auto glass replacement and detailing techniques highly desirable.
