In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced auto body repair techniques. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will ensure every vehicle meets our high standards of quality and safety. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about automotive repair, auto restoration, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine the scope of repairs needed, including sheet metal work and auto painting. Perform auto body repairs such as dent removal, panel replacement, welding (including MIG welding and soldering), and fabrication using hand tools and power tools. Conduct auto glass replacement and repair, ensuring proper sealing and alignment for safety and aesthetics. Utilize auto estimating software to evaluate damages accurately and communicate repair plans effectively. Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer; execute auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques for a flawless finish. Carry out heavy lifting safely during parts replacement or assembly tasks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and sheet metal work to restore vehicle structures. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, maintenance, and auto restoration processes. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, auto glass equipment, and auto estimating software. Knowledge of auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying for high-quality finishes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various repair tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair processes clearly. Familiarity with automotive repair standards, auto body alignment, detailing, assembly, and vehicle maintenance practices.
