Full-time Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting vehicles, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship. As an Auto Body Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas that are not to be painted. Mix paint and other materials according to manufacturer specifications. Apply paint using spray guns and other equipment to achieve a professional and uniform finish. Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections and correct any flaws to ensure a high-quality final product. Match paint colors using computer technology or visual inspection. Maintain and operate painting equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition. Ensure adherence to all safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient vehicle repair processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to minimize hazards and maintain productivity.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as an auto body painter or similar role in an automotive repair setting. Strong knowledge of auto painting techniques and materials. Ability to match and blend colors accurately. Excellent attention to detail and precision. Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with safety procedures and proper handling of hazardous materials. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills :

Certification or training in auto body painting or a related field. Experience with advanced painting techniques and technology.
