We are looking to expand our technician base. We are seeking full time collision center technicians. A collision center technician specializes in repairing and restoring vehicle exteriors after collisions or damage. This role requires expertise in assessing damages, removing dents, and refinishing surfaces to factory standards. You work with various tools and materials to ensure the vehicle's structural integrity and appearance are fully restored. Precision and attention to detail are essential to delivering high-quality repairs that meet safety and aesthetic requirements. Key Responsibilities of a Body Shop Technician Key Responsibilities of a Body Shop Technician Inspecting damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and determine proper procedures. Removing and replacing damaged parts including panels, bumpers, and frames with precision. Straightening vehicle frames and aligning structural components using specialized equipment. Prepping surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure high-quality paint application. Applying primers, paints, and clear coats following manufacturer specifications for finish durability. Utilizing welding and specialty tools for metal repairs and reinforcement tasks with safety compliance. Performing quality control checks to verify repairs meet safety and aesthetic standards. Collaborating with insurance adjusters and customers to clarify repair work and cost estimates. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to support efficiency and hazard reduction. Keeping up-to-date with automotive repair technology, tools, and industry regulations. Essential Skills for Body Shop Technicians Body Shop Technicians must possess expert knowledge in metalworking, painting, and vehicle restoration to ensure high-quality repairs. Precision in measuring and alignment, along with proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, is critical for restoring vehicles to factory specifications. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail enhance efficiency and guarantee safety and aesthetic standards are met in every repair job. Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug screening.
