Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help bring vehicles back to life through precise repairs, painting, welding, and assembly. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive repair and auto restoration to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural realignment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve flawless finishes that meet manufacturer standards. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication skills to restore vehicle frames and panels accurately. Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision. Assess vehicle damage using auto estimating tools and communicate repair plans effectively with customers. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each vehicle. Assist in auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts and performing mechanical adjustments as needed. Requirements Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role within a dealership or automotive repair shop. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and the use of various hand and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience with auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Knowledge of auto glass installation, auto estimating software, and auto body repair standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repair processes and timelines. Preferred qualifications include dealership experience, mechanic experience, familiarity with auto restoration projects, and certification in welding or automotive repair specialties. Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
