Job Description

Collision Center Detailer Thornton Automotive Group has been a family-owned and operated business serving Central Pennsylvania since 1993. If you're serious about your career in the automotive industry and want to be part of a team that does things the right way, we'd like to talk. We are seeking a Detailer for our Collision Center. As our Collision Center Detailer, you're the last set of eyes on every repaired vehicle before it goes back to the customer. Your work is the final step in delivering a repair that looks like it never happened — and that matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform final detail work on vehicles completed through the collision repair process Polish and buff repainted panels to remove over spray and achieve a flawless finish Clean interiors thoroughly after repair work, removing dust, debris, and protective sheeting Apply paint sealant and surface protection products as required Inspect vehicles for cosmetic concerns prior to customer delivery Work closely with production staff to manage workflow and turnaround times
REQUIREMENTS
Prior detailing experience required; collision center or body shop experience strongly preferred Proficiency with orbital buffers, polishing compounds, and detail chemicals Keen eye for paint finish quality, surface defects, and panel matching Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Valid driver's license
