Auto Body Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. This role involves working on various vehicle makes and models, restoring them to their original condition after accidents or damage. Duties

• Perform repairs on damaged vehicles, including bodywork, frame straightening, and paint refinishing.
• Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as needed.
• Fabricate parts using sheet metal techniques, ensuring precision in all repairs.
• Conduct welding tasks to repair or replace damaged sections of the vehicle body.
• Install auto glass and ensure proper sealing to prevent leaks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about repair processes and timelines. Skills
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in auto body repair techniques.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship on all repairs.
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their concerns.
• Proficiency in soldering for electrical component repairs as needed.
• Experience working with sheet metal for fabrication tasks.
• Previous experience in a dealership setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
• Knowledge of auto glass installation techniques is a plus.
• Welding skills are beneficial for structural repairs.
