Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for an apprentice and an experienced autobody technician who has an interest in classic cars as well as modern collision. We are a production shop, not a flat rate shop, and place an emphasis on quality. We're looking for someone who has paint oriented experience such as masking, prepping and painting/paint mixing, however an autobody technician who can do body work is also acceptable. We are also looking for an apprentice. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment using hand tools and power tools. Conduct auto painting utilizing airless paint spraying techniques to achieve smooth, flawless finishes. Use MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair sheet metal and structural components. Fabricate custom parts and modify existing components through metal fabrication and assembly processes. Maintain detailed documentation of repair procedures, estimates, and customer communications. Assist with vehicle detailing and ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations. Prepare and mask cars for painting. Qualifications Experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabricating custom parts. Proficient with hand tools, power tools. Knowledge of auto body repair techniques such as sanding, sanding blocks, airless paint spraying, and auto painting. Ability to perform auto restoration projects with precision and attention to detail. Has own tools or ability to purchase tools.
Pay:
$14.00 - $24.00 per hour
